me
Nixa is a small town about 5-10 miles south of me.

However, give the number of raging psychotics that write into the paper from down ther, I'm beginning to wonder what's in the water in Christian County.

While I'll keep my views on the subject to myself, the letter this guy sent in is farking hilarious in its stupidity, and the comments made me laugh out loud.

When will terrible holocaust end?

A lot is being written these days concerning pro-life and pro-choice decisions. Little is being written concerning the true Christian view.

1. Every Christian Bible student knows that at the time of conception, Father God dispatches a messenger angel to carry the newly created human spirit from Heaven to the bedroom. This doesn't infer another Immaculate Conception, but it does hold out for the sacredness of each new human life.

2. The history of abortion is replete with adjectives describing the terror, evil, mystery and guilt surrounding the ancient pagan rite. On the contrary, Psalm 139: 14-16 describes God's direct hand in each human creation act. "I am fearfully and wonderfully made."

3. Abortion in any form or stage is murder. All of our laws protect the living (outside the womb). How about some new laws in our legislature protecting the rights of the unborn?

4. Any medical doctor that has taken the Hippocratic oath to preserve human life should stand up in opposition to any form of abortion.

Every true follower of Jesus Christ knows that something is dreadfully wrong in our great nation.

As you walk daily in the workplace and marketplace, you realize that something dreadful and foreboding lurks near.

What you and I as Christians are feeling is the death of our 1,000 babies daily being cut out of their mothers' wombs prematurely. Can't you hear their cries for mercy, love and justice?

Father God hears their cries and a giant sword hangs over us and our future as a nation and people.

Who will rise to the occasion? Who will circulate petitions and redress our state and national governments? Who will form prayer teams? Who will write letters to our congressmen? Who will just pray?

When will this national shame and holocaust end?

As to the old covenant, when Jesus Christ was crucified, buried and rose form the grave, a new covenant was born.

As kingdom children of God, we live in a higher order. Our thoughts, deeds, and actions are supposed to reflect kingdom government, order and love.

As kingdom children we attend to and obey the voice of our King who so eloquently said in Matthew 5: 17, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For I say to you that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven."

So! When are we going to end the terrible holocaust that stalks us hourly? It is our choice, you know!

The Rev. Dr. Theodore S. Perry, Nixa

Yah... the comments are better than the original post. That's for sure. I especially enjoyed the one about "if you're wearing a condom does that mean the messenger angel is just standing over in the corner with a big rubber bag over his head?" That one FTW!

That and the one pointing out that you won't get pregnant if you don't have sex in the bedroom are my favorites.

OOOOOKAY.....wonder what set this man off to write such a rambling diatribe? And since when has abortion EVER been an 'ancient pagan rite'?

Hello pagan here. Did I miss a memo?

Like I said, I think there's something in the water south of here. Seems like everyone who writes in from Nixa writes in this same vein. You know, the one where they uiote out of the "I pulled this out of my ass" Bible.
