Library or Laundry?
30th-Jul-2002 01:33 am
This is the question of what I want to do tomorrow. I have a couple reserves in at the library, including the "skip the preachin' and laugh at the campiness" new installment in the Left Behind series. But by the same token, I have no clean clothes. And a trip to the laundry means a good excuse to read without interuption.

Actually, for some odd reason, the subject of high school came up at work tonight. Since I realized that everyone has stories of High School hell, I decided to save my memories for an

How amusing. I came out in High School. I went to a redneck school.I was told that if I brought a man to Prom, I'd be lynched.
End of Story.

Wow, that was longer than I thought it would be. But hey, shit happens. And I'm hungry. YAY Ramen and Chef Boyardee!

Ramen AND Chef Boyardee? ehhh *feeling woosy*

One or the other is bad enough.

But together they equal yumminess!

a double negative?

except ramen isn't bad. chef boyardee... actually, i don't know if i've ever had that, but it looks a bit on the scary side.

Canned pasta you can eat hot or cold. Handy for summer when you don't want to deal with hot food.
30th-Jul-2002 11:44 am (UTC)
ah, i know what it is, i just don't think i've ever actually eaten it.
30th-Jul-2002 11:50 am (UTC) - Re:
Yummy stuff.

Chef Boyardee is the food of the gods. Trust me on this.

Don't listen to her! You just can't go wrong with roast beef-flavored ramen and a nice can of ravioli! :)

By the way, I was about to add you to my friends list and inform you of said adding when I noticed that you'd already added me without telling me. Rar.

i said that ramen was fine, dammit!
but i don't eat the beef kind, 'cause i'm a tree-hugging hippie loser.
30th-Jul-2002 07:17 am (UTC)
We won't go into your issues as a tree-hugging hippie loser (at least you admit it :P ) but that was actually aimed at grimkitten. You at least appreciate ramen.
30th-Jul-2002 09:32 am (UTC)
everything is all about me, dammit! ME!
30th-Jul-2002 10:50 am (UTC) - Re:
Beef flavour is nasty. Chicken all the way.
30th-Jul-2002 10:57 am (UTC)
To each their own. At least you spell flavour the good way. And you like Queer as Folk (I'm convinced I'm one of the only hetero males in the world to like that show). So I'll forgive you.
30th-Jul-2002 11:47 am (UTC)
oriental flavour. it doesn't really taste like anything, and it's kind of salty, while default-flavour ramen is already dangerously packed with sodium...
but it hasn't got the chicken/beef fat/powder or whatever other carcassness is in other flavours.

Sorry. I like guerilla friend tactics...add and see how long it takes for them to notice;)
30th-Jul-2002 10:58 am (UTC)
So how long ago DID you add me?
30th-Jul-2002 11:05 am (UTC)
Um...*watch the little hamsters run around the wheel*...Probably after the second round of commentary in grimkitten's comments...
30th-Jul-2002 11:38 am (UTC)
*sticks tounge out at joshuapanther*

I still say ICKY!

I would ignore your silly comment but I must give you the requisite 5 bonus points for bringing Monty Python into the conversation.
30th-Jul-2002 12:01 pm (UTC)
Is this the part where I repsond with my classic line of "don't stick it out unless you intend to use it?"

*runs and hides*

The ravioli rocks, that's what I lived on when I was twenty, now I'm not so sure?
30th-Jul-2002 10:46 am (UTC) - Re:
The chef has his moments, and as an added bonus, he's cheap as hell.
30th-Jul-2002 04:47 pm (UTC)
