Had a really bizzare talk with mommie dearest last night.
Most of what was discussed can be labled as "family shit", but in all
honesty, I think we came to a better understanding of each other. One
must wonder though how the 3 of us (My Brother, mom, and I) came to
the same conclusion with irritation, where we avoid any conflict by
going away before we start saying things best left unsaid. Also, I
learned that sex ed for women of the 20's and 40's consisted of "Lie
back and think of England". Brings whole new meaning to "taking one
for the team".
Anyway, I suppose what I'm trying to say is that I learned a great
deal about my parents and ancestors than was really necessary. And
what it's lead me to contemplate is trying my hand at writing a one-
act play. I have the ideas in my head, it's just a matter of sitting
down and doing it.
