Writer's Block: Your Theme
20th-May-2008 04:31 pm
me
If your daily life had a theme song, what would it be?

As of late, either "Sound" by James or "Mea Culpa" by Enigma. Really, they kind of act like a yin-yang of my mood swings this Spring. The former expresses the sense of reborn innocense and wonder and renewal I've been experiencing, and the other expresses the darker, more sensual experiences I've been having.

Ape your father's sins, your mother's mood swings
To perfection
Fall into a spin, shed another skin
Strip away all your protection

Laugh at the wonder of it all
Laugh so loud you break the fall
And you see the gathering clouds
Cry at the sadness of the world
Cry so long you break its cold
And you hear the gathering sounds

Do everything you fear
In this there's power
Fear is not to be afraid of

Laugh at the wonder of it all
Laugh so loud you break your fall
And you hear the gathering sounds

Come, dip on in
Leave your bones, leave your skin
Leave your past, leave your craft
Leave your suffering heart

Turn off the light,
take a deep breath and relax

O Sacrum Convivium
recolitur passionis eius
(O Sacret Banquet
His passion is renewed)

Je ne dors plus (Je ne dors plus)
Je te desire (Je te desire)
Je veux aller au bout de mes fantasmes
Je sais que c'est interdit
Prends moi (Prends moi)
Je suis a toi (Je suis a toi)
(I can't sleep anymore
I desire you
I want to go to the end of my fantasies
I know it's forbidden
Take me
I'm yours)

Mea culpa (Mea culpa)
(I'm guilty)

Turn off the light,
take a deep breath and relax

Prends moi (Prends moi)
Je suis a toi (Je suis a toi)
(Take me
I'm yours)

Mea Culpa (Mea culpa)
(I'm guilty)

O Sacrum Convivium
recolitur passionis eius
(O Sacred Banquet
His passion is renewed)

Prends moi (Prends moi)
Je suis a toi (Je suis a toi)
Prends moi (Prends moi)
Je suis a toi (Je suis a toi)
(Take me
I'm yours
Take me
I'm yours
I'm guilty)

Mea Culpa (Mea culpa)
(I'm guilty)

Turn off the light,
take a deep breath and relax

Prends moi (Prends moi)
Je suis a toi (Je suis a toi)
(Take me
I'm yours)

Mea Culpa (Mea culpa)
(I'm guilty)
