I'm in an odd mood, so here's a few videos to songs that generally cheer me up.

"The Metro" and "Sex (I'm a...)" were far and away Berlin's finest tunes IMHO. "The Metro" is one of those songs I never get tired of hearing. A friend who worked at a record store (!?!) got me a huge poster from the album, "Pleasure Victim." It was the largest piece of art in my house for years. ;) I wish I still had it.

I wish you still had it too...then I could steal borrow it from you.

I couldn't find "Sex (I'm a...) on You Tube, and I haven't found a good download of it either. I know I have a copy on my old hard drive that doesn't want to wear the slave collar. I may just have to see if CD Warehouse has a copy.

Hehehe. Berlin. Cool. Got the chance to see them perform in a gym at a local college, right when they hit it big with that song from "Top Gun". Fun show. I almost pulled Terri Nunn off the stage while shaking her hand.

IIRC, she's very vertically challenged. I seem to remember her being quite short as compared to everyone else on Bands Reunited a few years back.

She's tiny! I know! :0). The show itself was like what movies back then would pretend was a "high school prom". The name band playing in a gymnasium to a group of dancing kids...

That actually sounds like a lot of fun.

It was! I went with an ex of mine and some mutual friends. The speakers were HUGE and the sound in the gym was deafening. I think that I lost a good percentage of my hearing that night, My ears were ringing for days...

ROFLMAO

Reminds me of my first arena show where my brother insisted we stand next to the wall o speakers for Stryper's set.

LOL. Well the herb that we smoked beforehand certainly didn't help my judgement.

All in all, a good concert experience though. I could see the guitar player's fingers play every note.
